WoodBound began as an idea, then became a world, then somehow became six books that carried more of my heart than I ever expected to place on a page.
At its heart, WoodBound has always been about more than magic, gods, battles or ancient realms. It is about family. It is about grief and hope. It is about ordinary people carrying impossible burdens because love gives them no other choice.
If you have reached the end of this journey, then Endrin, Deytonna, Lochlin, Logan, Saga and the world of Elarion have lived for a while in your imagination too. That means more to me than I can properly express.
I hope this saga gave you somewhere to go when you needed it. I hope it gave you adventure, comfort, heartbreak, laughter, and something worth carrying back into the real world.
Whether this is where your journey with WoodBound ends, or whether we meet again in another story, thank you for taking these steps beside the Skarn family and beside me.
